Sewer drain backup in Milwaukee home

This Milwaukee homeowner had a clogged sewer drain in her laundry room that backed up into her unfinished basement. By the time our crew arrived, the majority of the water had drained out of the basement, however at one point there was 3 inches before the drain was cleared out. Being that the basement was unfinished, there weren’t really any building materials affected that needed to be removed, however there was a large amount of contents that were affected by the sewer water. Some contents needed to be disposed of. Typically you don’t want to keep contents that were affected by sewage water as it can be extremely unsanitary.
